Job Description

The two internship positions are available in the administration department and will last for six months. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and diverse work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports counting assets and inventories of supplies
  • Prepares background materials for service providers selection processes and uploads cleared materials on the intranet
  • Prepares and maintains agendas on meetings and events related to the work group commitments
  • Provides comparison table to obtain the best service and price for all travels
  • Assists in invoice processing and payment
  • Arranges for the purchase and timely distribution of office supplies
  • Assesses needs for premises facilities on weekly basis and initiate repairs or/and maintenance works accordingly

Qualifications

To qualify as an intern at UNICEF, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate, or graduate school, or be a recent graduate in Business administration, Finance, Accounting, procurement
  • Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor
  • Be proficient in at least one of UNICEF's working languages: English and French
