The Youth and Women Empowerment and Engagement Project (YWEEP) is a key initiative to strengthen leadership and socio-economic empowerment through innovative technology. This internship supports visibility and strategic communication for YWEEP and the Country Office.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of communication plans for YWEEP.
- Cover YWEEP activities, including photo/video documentation for social media.
- Develop multimedia content: posts, testimonies, success stories, podcasts, infographics, presentations, reports, newsletters, and other materials.
- Assist with the Safe Spaces Strong Voices campaign against GBV.
- Organize and brand events and meetings.
- Manage multimedia library (pictures, videos, stories).
- Manage media relations and promote project activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience
Education
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related fields.
- Fluency in French and/or English required; secondary language mastery is an asset.
Experience
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling skills.
- Social media management and digital content creation.
- Experience with design and multimedia tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, photography, video editing) is a strong plus.
- Interest in development issues, especially gender equality, youth empowerment, and governance.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in multicultural environments.
