UNICEF aims to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children, promoting their rights and helping them fulfill their potential in over 190 countries. Cameroon faces significant climate vulnerabilities, making the need for green skills education vital for adolescents.

Key Objectives:

  • Conduct a study on green skills and employment opportunities for adolescents in Cameroon.
  • Identify current opportunities and gaps in green skills development.
  • Propose strategies to integrate green skills into educational programs.
  • Develop pathways linking green skills to income opportunities and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience in data management and statistics.
  • Familiarity with the Cameroon context is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of UNICEF's languages is an asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
