Communications and Public Advocacy Internship

UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • University studies in international relations, gender studies, social science, or related fields
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
  • Working knowledge of another UN language is an advantage
  • Must be enrolled in a graduate school program, final year of a first university degree program, or have graduated within the last two years

Remuneration:

  • Interns who are not receiving financial support from other sources will receive a stipend to partially subsidize their living costs
