JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an interpreter /transcriptor with perfect English and French skills and any of these other languages: German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Hindu, Arabic, Italian, etc.
MISSIONS
- Interpret during meetings of JMJ ACADEMY collaborators and clients or transcribe the outcome of meetings in English, French and/or any of these other languages: German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Hindu, Arabic, Italian, etc.
- Provide interpretation during meetings of JMJ ACADEMY collaborators and clients in respecting strictly the confidentiality of items discussed
- Show proof of high level of discretion in all sessions covered
- Be ready to carry out other functions as the need may arise
- Should be competent in carrying out simultaneous, consecutive, and liaison interpretation
PROFILE OF INTERPRETER/TRANSCRIPTOR
- Be a holder of an M.A in Interpretation or any other equivalent certificate
- Have a perfect master of English and French and/or any other third language
- Should have ample knowledge of interpretation techniques
- Dispose of experience in conference and simultaneous interpretation
- Should be able to express yourself both orally and on paper
- Have the ability to listen, understand and reproduce the same content
- Should have high level of concentration and the ability to constantly work under pressure
- Should have enough knowledge on the different domains in which JMJ ACADEMY operates
- Should be able to manage stress levels
- Know how to use interpretation equipment
