RECRUITMENT NOTICE OF (01) MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Main objective

1 : Tracking of beneficiaries and indicators

  • In close collaboration with the Database Manager and under the supervision of the project manager, coordinate the preparation and updating of the project monitoring and evaluation plan and submit it to the project manager for validation;
  • In collaboration with the Data Base Manager, develop and ensure the regular updating of the project indicators database;
  • In collaboration with the protection officers, establish and update the mapping of the project implementation areas;
  • Monitor the performance indicators of the local project implementation partners.

2: Development of collection and capitalization tools

  • Identify data sources and develop the appropriate tools to capture performance and impact indicators, in collaboration with the project team;
  • Support the project team and its partners in the identification of critical events that could allow the formulation of lessons learned and the taking into account of decisions favoring the success of the project;
  • Set up tools and forms to help the project team capture all the basic information of the project and coordinate with team leaders and protection officers for their implementation;
  • In conjunction with the project manager, organize regular missions to control the quality of the data and information collected;
  • n conjunction with the communication unit, coordinate the collection of the most significant changes generated by the project (testimonials and case studies) of testimonials (success stories) and ensure their monthly reporting
  • Ensure that lessons learned are taken into account in the planning of project activities;
  • Share monthly with the program manager the tools implemented and / or updated for the collection and monitoring of project information..

3: Reporting on project indicators and statistics

  • Submit to the project manager a monthly monitoring table of project performance indicators;
  • Provide the Reporting Officer with timely indicator data, as well as updated and verified statistics for the preparation of the various reporting deadlines
  • In close collaboration with the Reporting Officer and under the supervision of the project manager, prepare monthly progress reports on the activities carried out presenting the results achieved by targets
  • Ensure the filling and secure archiving and digitization of activity sheets
  • Monthly supply of the statistical database of the project to the program manager

4: Organization of assessments and development of tools

    • Organize follow-up visits to the activities of the project implementation partners and report to the project manager
    • At the request of the project manager, organize satisfaction surveys and ensure reporting
    • Under the supervision of the project manager, ensure the collection of level 1 complaints and monitor the processing of these complaints by the teams concerned. Produce a monthly monitoring report
    • In collaboration with the project manager, organize post-distribution surveys and ensure analysis and reporting
  • In collaboration with the project manager and under the supervision of the program manager, organize needs assessments specific to INTERSOS, or those in collaboration with other humanitarian actors and platforms.

Competences

  • University degree in Management, with an advanced diploma in project management, data analysis, statistics,
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, including at least one year in NGO.
  • At least 2 years in Database Management, Data analysis, and/or monitoring tools development/implementation
  • Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Kobo Toolbox, outlook)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Respect and adherence to protection principles
  • Capacity to work under pressure, flexibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Initiative and autonomy

Languages

English is the primary working language

Knowledge of French (written and spoken) is an asset
