About the Opportunity
UNICEF Cameroon is seeking a national consultant based in Yaoundé to support the development of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Accounts. This mission aims to monitor financial flows within the WASH sector, strengthen national data systems, and institutionalize WASH accounts for improved planning and investment.

Key Responsibilities
## 1. Planning and Data Collection
- Develop a comprehensive plan for WASH account implementation
- Coordinate data collection from multiple national stakeholders
- Ensure completeness and consistency of financial data
## 2. Data Processing and Analysis
- Clean, verify, and prepare financial datasets
- Classify and code data in alignment with WASH accounts methodology
- Finalize WASH account results and outputs
## 3. Validation and Dissemination
- Organize validation workshops with stakeholders
- Produce technical documentation and strategic reports
- Support planning for the next WASH account cycle
Required Profile
## Education
- Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Public Finance, or a related field
## Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public finance, budgeting, or economic analysis
- Proven work on WASH or GLAAS accounts in Cameroon
- Experience with multi-stakeholder workshops and writing technical reports
- Fluency in French required; English is an asset
- Experience in developing countries is a plus
## Technical Skills
- Strong data analysis using Excel or related tools
- Understanding of WASH financing mechanisms and national monitoring processes
- Familiarity with key WASH stakeholders and data sources
- Experience with health accounts tools is advantageous
