Key Responsibilities

Operations and Cash Management

  • Provide daily updates on cash positions across all bank accounts and virtual wallets.
  • Prepare weekly cash management reports with variance analysis against forecasts.
  • Monitor monthly cash forecasts and payment schedules; escalate risks as needed.
  • Support treasury facility drawdowns, documentation, and reporting.
  • Address payment and cash queries from banks and internal stakeholders.

FX Regulatory Compliance & Foreign Payments

  • Manage documentation and processes for foreign payments adhering to Central Bank regulations.
  • Liaise with banks to resolve FX-related delays and ensure compliance on eTracking platforms.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and accounting of FX allocations and transactions.

Bank Relationship & Treasury Support

  • Oversee Letters of Credit, bank transfer requests, debit cards, and online banking issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to facilitate timely payment approvals.
  • Collaborate with SSH for transaction justifications and problem resolution.

Month-End Closing & Reconciliations

  • Perform month-end reconciliations of cash and cash equivalents within Oracle Fusion.
  • Validate proper reflection of loans, facilities, and FX transactions in the trial balance.
  • Reconcile Mobile Money ledger accounts with transaction platforms and upload documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Tax, Projects, and Legal teams to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Provide treasury insights and recommendations during monthly operational and strategic reviews.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business discipline.
  • Proficiency in English; local languages preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in treasury or cash management roles.
  • Experience with FX operations and regulatory frameworks is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
  • Proven teamwork and cross-department collaboration skills.

Certifications:

  • IFRS knowledge required.
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred.
