UNICEF is seeking a Consultant International "Monitoring Evaluation Reporting" to support the implementation of the National Development Strategy 2020-2030 in Cameroon.
Background
The National Development Strategy 2020-2030 (SND30) assigns missions to the domain of Social and Behavior Change (CSC), including the promotion of human rights through access to basic social services, the promotion of a healthy environment, and community participation in development. The interventions of social and behavioral change aim to contribute to the strengthening of population involvement in development actions to improve their daily lives, thus contributing significantly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by Cameroon.
Objectives
The consultant will support the implementation of the National Development Strategy 2020-2030 and contribute to the improvement of social indicators in Cameroon. The consultant will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the strategy, as well as providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Evaluation, Education, Sociology, Humanitarian Assistance, or other relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of social and behavioral change programs
- Experience in data collection and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including NGOs, government, international development agencies, etc.
- Experience working in West and Central Africa, particularly in Cameroon, is an asset
- Proven ability to deliver results efficiently and on time
- Excellent writing skills in French and proficiency in English is required
