About the Role

The Specialist - Content Management plays a pivotal role in driving MTN Cameroon's corporate communication and digital presence. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce diverse content types for multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage campaigns across social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, enhancing MTN's visibility and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality content production and alignment with corporate messaging.
  • Execute social media strategies following best practices to strengthen online presence and community interaction.
  • Partner with ESG leads to integrate sustainable development and corporate responsibility messages into communications.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance to optimize outreach and impact.
  • Provide support for copywriting across internal and external channels such as emails, news sites, and marketing materials.
  • Manage relationships with media stakeholders, ensuring accurate and informative dissemination of company news.
  • Identify and cultivate online advocates to amplify MTN's message and reputation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in content creation, including video production, blogs, social media content, and corporate reports.
  • Expertise in corporate communication, media relations, and stakeholder engagement within a complex media environment.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications industry dynamics and a strong understanding of MTN's products, services, and corporate identity.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, Adobe Suite, CMS platforms, and social media best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent command of both English and French, with superior writing and editing abilities.
