Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the IT Operations Officer and the Head of TEC, the IT Operations Assistant will:

  1. IT Service Desk & User Support
    • Act as first point of contact for user IT queries
    • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and conferencing tools
    • Log and track incidents in the corporate ticketing system (EasyVista)
  2. IT Infrastructure Support
    • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment
    • Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity
    • Provide support for corporate applications (Microsoft 365, SCOPE, WINGS/SAP, COMET, email systems)
  3. IT Asset Management
    • Maintain inventory records in GEMS
    • Support deployment, transfer, and disposal of ICT equipment
    • Assist with physical verification and reconciliation of IT assets
  4. Training & Documentation
    • Provide ICT training and user orientation
    • Draft and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
  5. Compliance & Cybersecurity
    • Ensure adherence to IT security and data protection policies
    • Report and support investigations of cybersecurity incidents
  6. Other Duties
    • Provide technical support during events and workshops
    • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of secondary school required
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • University degree is an asset

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or network administration
  • Experience with UN, NGOs, or international organizations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with WFP systems (SCOPE, WINGS, COMET) is a plus

Languages

  • Fluency in English and French (Level C)
