Since 1975, UNICEF has operated in Cameroon to uphold the rights of women and children as outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Our focus encompasses Health, Education, Child Protection, and more, serving the most vulnerable families.

Cameroon's young population faces numerous challenges, requiring collaborative action from all stakeholders to address socioeconomic demands and service gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and planning of child protection programs.
  • Provide technical and operational support for program implementation.
  • Manage program monitoring and delivery of results.
  • Build networks and partnerships.
  • Facilitate knowledge management and capacity building.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in child protection or social development.
  • Experience in both development and humanitarian contexts is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and basic French required; knowledge of another UN language or local language is a plus.
